Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management seeks a detail-oriented Medicaid Support Specialist to assist with Medicaid Pending processes in LTC facilities. You will contact responsible parties to request backup information and follow up until completion.

In this full-time role, you will maintain tracking, communicate with residents or families, and report progress to the Senior Medicaid Advocate and VP of Revenue Cycle Management. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Medicaid application/renewal for LTC facilities.
• Preferred experience with TMHP and SimpleLTC portals.
• Proficient computer skills and software literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Medicaid Pending process by contacting responsible party to request backup information for items on the Medicaid Questionnaire.
• Communicate with residents and/or family members regarding the application process and required documentation.
• Maintain tracking system for all Medicaid Pending referrals to ensure timely completion.
• Perform detailed email communications within the referral group and attach required information.
• Report delays or barriers to the Senior Medicaid Advocate and VP of Revenue Cycle Management.
