Qualifications

• One year of experience as Income Maintenance Caseworker I.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret rules, regulations and procedures.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility for Family and Children's Medicaid recipients.
• Process applications and re-determine eligibility for continued benefits.
• Obtain third party verifications and communicate with recipients to collect required data.
• Ensure timeliness standards are met in accordance with Medicaid policy.
• Interact with clients, the public and public officials to obtain data and explain procedures.
