Job summary

Meduit is seeking a Medicaid Eligibility Representative (Onsite) in Atlanta to assist uninsured hospital patients accessing Medicaid and related programs. You will collect documentation, guide patients through applications, and coordinate with government offices to establish eligibility.

Responsibilities include interviewing patients, completing forms, and maintaining accurate notes in hospital systems. This role requires strong communication and teamwork, with occasional evenings and Saturdays

Qualifications

• 1 year of call center experience (in-office or remote).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with electronic health record or similar software.
• Proficiency with PC-based applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• May work occasional evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the portfolio of applicants with support staff.
• Work as a team to meet personal and group goals.
• Conduct financial fact-finding interviews for Medicaid and other benefits.
• Complete Medicaid and applicable applications/releases.
• Monitor applicants eligible for Medicaid or other assistance.
• Enter notes in patient accounting systems in hospitals and Meduit Health Systems.
• Ensure all documents are obtained and filed timely.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
