Job summary

Vitaver & Associates, Inc. seeks a Medicaid Data Governance Analyst to work onsite in Sioux Falls, SD. The candidate will collaborate with SD Medicaid staff to map data flows, ensure data quality, and implement governance frameworks across enterprise interfaces.

Qualifications

• Relational SQL and NoSQL experience required.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview.
• Senior level experience in healthcare services.
• Proficiency with data modeling tools such as ERwin or ER/Studio.
• Experience with enterprise data modeling, catalogs, and lineage.
• Experience implementing data governance programs and frameworks.
• Knowledge of BI concepts and data integration.
• Familiarity with modern interface design and UX considerations.
• Experience writing interface control documents.
• Understanding of data management, design best practices, and system interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Create Medicaid-related Interface Registry for SD Medicaid applications.
• Document Medicaid ICDs for interfaces lacking ICDs.
• Create Medicaid Interface Management Plan.
• Model data and design data warehouse structures where none exist.
• Create Medicaid data catalog and data lineage documentation.
• Develop Data Governance and Management Plan with DSS and State resources.
• Collaborate with SD State Medicaid staff to map data flows and data movement.

Medicaid Data Governance Analyst (onsite)

14957 – Medicaid Data Governance Analyst (onsite) – Sioux Falls, SD

Start Date: ASAP

Type: Temporary Project

Estimated Duration:12 months with possible extensions

Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Sioux Falls, SD (required);
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview.
• Experience in healthcare services (Senior level).
• Experience working with data modeling tools such as ERwin or ER/Studio.
• Experience with database management and design best practices on an enterprise level.
• Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, data catalogs, and data lineage.
• Experience with governance frameworks and best practices, and experience in implementing data governance programs.
• Experience with business intelligence concepts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Create Medicaid-related Interface Registry for all South Dakota (SD) Medicaid applications.
• Document and write Medicaid-related Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for any interface listed in the Interface Registry that does not have an associated ICD.
• Create a Medicaid-related Interface Management Plan
• Create Medicaid related data modeling, data warehouse structure if none exists.
• Create Medicaid data catalog and data lineage.
• Create Medicaid-related Data Governance and Management Plan in consultation with DSS and other State resources.
• Work alongside SD State Medicaid staff to understand system to system interactions and data flow and map movement of data between different parts of SD Medicaid systems and processes, reporting of data to internal and external partners, and data storage, organization and security.
