Deloitte is seeking an Project- Analytics and Insights Engineer I to analyze Medicaid claims, build SQL queries, and develop dashboards to surface risk indicators for investigative teams.

The role requires co-locating in Des Moines, IA five days per week, with 1+ year of Medicaid analysis experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Strong communication and leadership potential are valued in a collaborative GPS team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1+ year of Health & Welfare Benefits Expertise and Medicaid analysis.
• Must co-locate in Des Moines, IA 5 days per week.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large volumes of medical claims to uncover billing anomalies and improper payments.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for Medicaid datasets.
• Work with medical claims data (DRGs, UB-04, CMS-1500) and coding systems.
• Build dashboards/visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, Databricks) to surface risk indicators.
• Collaborate with program integrity, healthcare operations, and analytics teams to identify fraud patterns.
