Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is seeking a Billing Specialist in Central, OH to manage Medicaid billing and related AR activities. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and timely reimbursement across payers, with Carelogic experience preferred.

Responsibilities include EDI claim creation, denial investigations, AR configuration, and maintaining strong communication with payers and internal teams. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three years of Ohio behavioral health Medicaid billing experience required.
• Three years of using an electronic health record system to process claims; Carelogic preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Ohio Medicaid billing rules and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide billing services for the organization
• Claim EDI creations for various payers
• Claim denial investigations and remediation
• Carelogic Billing / AR configuration and setup
• Interact with payment/clearinghouse portals
• Communicating the status of tasks
• Support organizational delay to resolve common errors
• Interact with ISBH staff positively, providing excellent customer service.
• Travel within designated service area
• Performs other duties as assigned
