This role collaborates with administrators and external billing partners to maintain compliant financial records.

The candidate will manage resident billing cycles, explain facility rates and payment terms to families, oversee staff, and pursue past-due accounts while safeguarding confidential

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant long-term care experience.
• Minimum three years related experience.
• 1–2 years supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and data reporting.
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly resident billings for services provided.
• Handle Medicaid, Medicare, and other payer billings with timely follow-up.
• Maintain accounts receivable and ensure accurate cash records.
• Attend department meetings and stay updated on regulations.
• Supervise busy business office staff and coordinate with outside billing company.
• Reconcile resident trust funds and daily cash activities.
