Genesis Healthcare is a leading provider in the long-term care industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality care and exceptional service. This role supports the nursing center finance team as a Bookkeeper, focusing on Medicaid-related billing and accounts receivable in a multi-site environment.

The position requires Medicaid experience and may involve floating between centers within the Beckley POD in West Virginia.

Qualifications

• Medicaid experience is required for this role.
• Experience with nursing center billing and AR processes is preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely according to policy.
• Assist with census, billing, month end activities, collections, refunds and trust fund transactions.
• Review patient/resident admission files for accuracy.
