Peraton is seeking an Auditor to join SafeGuard Services (SGS) in a Medicaid auditing capacity. You will analyze cost reports, perform focused audits, and identify risks within healthcare revenue cycles, contributing to continuous improvement.

The role supports telework from Florida and requires U.S. citizenship, with typical collaboration across audit projects and reporting to the SGS team. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years with a BS/BA or 9 years with a HS Diploma.
• Typically 2+ years of related experience in finance, accounting or audit.
• Intermediate knowledge of internal audit policies and operating principles.
• Intermediate understanding of Medicaid or healthcare auditing and revenue cycles.
• Intermediate risk assessment and scoping skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel.

Responsabilités

• Audits cost reports, claims submissions and performs ad-hoc audits.
• Identifies inherent and residual risks and conducts risk-based audits.
• Develops understanding of the function to be audited and identifies findings.
• Provides progress reports and updates of audit findings.
• Participates in projects/audits and provides data analysis.
• Stays abreast of new audit developments.
