Myers & Stauffer is a respected CPA and health and human services consulting firm with over 45 years of experience, serving state Medicaid agencies and federal CMS. We seek an auditor to perform reviews of Medicaid provider cost reports, calculate reimbursements, and support professional decisions through detailed working papers.

You will conduct desk reviews and on-site audits, researching relevant regulations and applying AICPA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• Master’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• CPA or CPA candidacy preferred.
• Experience in health care auditing and data analysis beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Perform reviews of Medicaid provider cost reports and analyze provider financial information.
• Perform reimbursement calculations and prepare supporting documents.
• Conduct desk reviews and various on-site audits.
• Research billing and reimbursement regulations for Medicaid or other government programs.
• Prepare working papers documenting scope and findings per regulations and standards.
• Demonstrate strong communication, data gathering, analysis, and process improvement.
