Job summary

The Louisiana Department of Health is seeking a motivated Medicaid Analyst Supervisor to lead a team of Medicaid Analysts and ensure high-quality service delivery.

You will oversee workflow, training, reviews, and compliance with state and federal policies, guiding staff through complex cases in a fast-paced environment. This role strengthens program integrity and outcomes for Louisiana families.

Qualifications

• Six years of social services experience or equivalent mix of field/time in related work.
• Bachelor's degree plus three years of social services experience or advanced degree plus two years.
• Ability to supervise, train, and ensure adherence to policies and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Medicaid Analysts and ensure standards of assistance are met.
• Assist analysts on sensitive applications and coordinate in-service training.
• Monitor case development and quality control; ensure policy compliance.
• Interpret program policy and manage weekly/monthly reports.
• Interview applicants on rights, respond to requests under FOIA/Privacy Act.
• Conduct investigations and maintain corrective action files.
