The Media Strategy and Planning Manager works with the Director of Media Marketing in the development and execution of paid media strategies that foster business growth. Oversees the day-to-day operation of media planning activities through strong collaboration with business line marketing leadership, peers within the media team, as well as thorough knowledge of the industry.

What You Will Do
  • Develop paid media strategies for multiple lines of business, translating campaign performance data into full-funnel actionable media plans.
  • Coordinate campaign execution between marketing teams and media operations, ensuring accurate campaign setup, performance tracking, and optimization to meet KPIs.
  • Lead the Media planning team in the development, documentation and communication of comprehensive media plans and their associated budget requirements.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to media planning staff, managing workflows, assigning projects based on strengths, and promoting professional growth and best practices.
  • Manage the integration of all aspects of the function across all required Business Lines and supported geographies, ensuring consistent execution of media strategies and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external media partners.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key stakeholders, documenting and interpreting performance resulting in optimizations and shifts in strategy, while educating teams for continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate financial allocations of authorized budgets for optimal ROI making recommendations for budget based on performance, shifting markets and business priorities.
  • Consult with other groups in Marketing and e-Business to leverage creative, analytic, research, digital channel, and audience segmentation expertise to deliver media plans on time and align with business priorities.
Qualifications

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Digital Media, Business Administration; Master's Degree preferred
  • 6+ years relevant media planning and performance measurement experience in B2C industry
  • 4+ years progressive leadership experience preferred
  • This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in office locations in Providence, RI OR Garden City, NY.

Salary: The pay range for this position in Rhode Island is $114,200 - $139,550. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Annual bonuses are some of the additional forms of compensation offered.
