GoTEN is seeking a Media Storyteller in Phoenix to share the stories, activities, and impact of our work with refugees. You will craft engaging content that highlights programs and the communities we serve, from English classes to tutoring services, sewing sessions, and more.

You will work with the Development Team to raise awareness, foster community engagement, and support fundraising through compelling narratives across social media channels.

About this role

The Media Storyteller at GoTEN will play a vital role in sharing the stories, activities, and impact of our work with refugees in Phoenix, AZ, including the Syrian, Afghan, Somali, Iraqi, Rohingyan, and other displaced communities we serve. As part of the Development Team, you'll have a unique opportunity to capture and share the transformative journeys of refugees and the dedicated teams that assist them.

Through your creative and innovative social media campaigns, you'll not only raise awareness about unreached refugees and the assistance GoTEN provides but also foster engagement and connections. Your role will involve showcasing our English classes, sewing sessions, tutoring services, and other activities we conduct, allowing our audience to see firsthand the difference their support and involvement make.

To excel in this role, you should have a passion for storytelling and a deep commitment to our mission. Your ability to craft compelling narratives and use various social media platforms will be critical. Your role will bridge the gap between the refugees we serve and the broader community, so an understanding of the cultural sensitivities and an appreciation for diverse backgrounds is vital.
