Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Media Specialist II to provide mid-level Media Center engineering and operations support at Newport, RI. You will install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot Media Center and VTC hardware systems, and work with cryptographic equipment for classified sessions.

Protecting sensitive information, you will engage in diagnostic troubleshooting, fault isolation, and maintenance, and assist with system designs, drawings, and topology maps to support secure communications.

Qualifications

• Mid-level Media Center engineering and VTC troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with cryptographic equipment and classified sessions.
• Certifications to support SECNAV M-5239.2 requirements for network infrastructure.

Scope of Work

Provides mid-level Media Center engineering and operations support, maintaining and troubleshooting VTC and audiovisual systems and supporting cryptographic equipment for classified sessions.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot Media Center and VTC hardware systems
• Conduct diagnostic troubleshooting, fault isolation, and corrective maintenance
• Support cryptographic keying material loading, testing, and troubleshooting
• Prepare Media Center system designs, drawings, and topology maps

Qualifications:

• Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.
• Mid-level Media Center engineering and VTC troubleshooting skills
• Personnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2
