This entry to mid-level role offers hands-on experience across media monitoring, reporting, and event logistics, with opportunities for mentorship and growth.

You will collaborate with a small, dedicated team to enhance the public profile of a local organization and expand our media reach in the Northern Cape.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in media relations, PR, or a communications support role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with PR software is a plus.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Enthusiasm for the Media & PR industry and a willingness to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in researching and identifying media opportunities and contacts.
• Help draft and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communication materials.
• Monitor media coverage across various platforms and compile reports.
• Support the logistics and coordination of media events and press conferences.
• Maintain and update media contact databases and mailing lists.
• Provide administrative support to the PR team as needed.
