Job description

GEP is a leading provider of AI-powered procurement and supply chain software, consulting, and managed services. We help Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies transform the way they source, buy, and manage their supply chains through innovative technology and strategic expertise.

Our Global Marketing team brings these solutions to life through compelling campaigns, thought leadership, and creative storytelling that help businesses solve complex challenges.

The Role

We're looking for a Media Production Contractor to join our Global Marketing team. This is a hands-on creative role for a video producer who combines strong technical production skills with visual imagination, independent creative judgment, and an instinct for what makes content engaging and impactful.

You'll turn raw footage, ideas, and creative direction into polished video that brings the GEP brand to life across marketing and promotional channels. From concept and storyboard through shoot and final cut, you'll help shape dynamic video content that connects with enterprise audiences.

An important part of the role is being able to take broad creative input from internal stakeholders and translate it into a strong visual solution. Rather than always working from highly prescriptive briefs, you'll be expected to interpret the intent behind feedback and direction, develop creative approaches of your own, and make confident decisions about how ideas should look, feel, and move on screen.

You'll collaborate closely with our video, creative, and design teams, while taking real ownership of the creative execution of your work. If you enjoy being given an objective and the freedom to determine the most effective way to bring it to life, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Collect and edit raw footage into compelling, polished videos for marketing and promotional use

  • Translate creative concepts, objectives, and stakeholder input into distinctive and engaging visual content

  • Take broad creative direction and independently develop practical visual treatments, rather than relying on detailed instructions for every aspect of execution

  • Partner with the creative team to conceptualize ideas and develop storyboards, scripts, and visual approaches

  • Bring ideas of your own to projects, identifying opportunities to make content more impactful, eye-catching, and memorable

  • Make informed creative decisions around pacing, composition, imagery, transitions, graphics, sound, and overall visual treatment

  • Operate cameras and assist on video shoots as needed

  • Present and articulate creative choices, respond constructively to feedback, and use that feedback to develop and strengthen the work

  • Ensure all video content meets high standards of quality, accuracy, and brand consistency before publication

  • Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, adapting creatively as scope, feedback, or direction shifts

  • Stay current on new tools, technologies, visual trends, and techniques in video production, and identify opportunities to apply them appropriately to our content

What You'll Bring

  • Hands-on experience in video production and editing, whether professional, freelance, internship, or strong project-based work

  • Proficiency in video and audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, Audacity, Logic X)

  • Working knowledge of camera operation and video production techniques

  • Strong storytelling instincts and an exceptional eye for composition, pacing, visual detail, and overall production quality

  • A reel or portfolio that demonstrates not only technical production ability but also creativity, visual judgment, and a distinctive approach to storytelling

  • A proactive, professional attitude and a genuine passion for creating great video
