Mindstream Media Group in Chicago seeks a Media Planner to support the development and execution of integrated media plans across digital and traditional channels. You will translate strategy into actionable plans and work closely with the Planning Supervisor to deliver client objectives.

The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and experienced with creating media plans, managing multiple priorities, and communicating effectively.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in media planning or related advertising/marketing roles
• Basic understanding of digital & traditional media channels including TV, CTV, OLV, Paid Social, OOH
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze information, identify patterns, and contribute thoughtful recommendations
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Experience using media planning or research tools (Nielsen, Comscore, MRI, Simmons)
• Familiarity with digital platforms such as Meta, Google, or programmatic environments

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a Media Planner to join our team in our Chicago office. As the Media Planner, you are responsible for supporting the development and execution of integrated media plans designed to achieve client business objectives. This role works closely with the Planning Supervisor to translate strategy into actionable media plans across both digital and traditional channels.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of integrated media plans aligned with client objectives, target audiences, and performance KPIs

The base salary for this position is $70,000, with the potential for up to an additional 10% if the applicant hired has additional related qualifications.
