Job summary

The Chamberlain Group is seeking a Media Coordinator, Retail Media (Amazon) to support planning, execution, and optimization of paid retail media. You will partner with an external agency to guide campaign setup, trafficking, activation, and measurement, ensuring alignment with product launches and calendars.

This role is not hands‑on keyboard; you will provide strategic direction and governance across national and retail media, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in retail media, e-commerce advertising, or media coordination.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Advertising Console and performance metrics is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; proficient in Excel/Sheets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day execution of Amazon campaigns with external agency partners.
  • Coordinate with agencies to ensure timely delivery of media plans aligned with launches.
  • Monitor performance and budget, flag optimization opportunities for Sr. Manager.

The Media Coordinator, Retail Media (Amazon) supports the planning, execution, and optimization of Chamberlain Group's paid retail media presence, with a primary focus on Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP). This role ensures retail media campaigns are executed effectively and in alignment with the broader media strategy and governance standards set by the Sr. Manager. This is not a hands-on-keyboard role. Instead, the Media Coordinator partners closely with Chamberlain Group's external retail media agency to provide strategic direction, review campaign execution, and ensure quality and alignment with business objectives. This role suited for someone early-to-mid career in retail media/e-commerce advertising who wants to build deep platform expertise while operating within a structured, cross-functional team.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day execution of Amazon advertising campaigns by managing and reviewing the work of external agency partners responsible for campaign setup, creative trafficking, activation, measurement, and keyword/bid optimizationCoordinate with retail media agencies to ensure timely delivery of media plans, ensuring alignment with product launches and promotional calendarsMonitor campaign performance (unit sales, revenue, ROAS) and budget pacing, flagging issues or optimization opportunities to the Sr. ManagerAssist in the development of retail media plans and strategy, providing platform and category insights informed by data and competitive trendsPartner with the National/DTC Media Coordinator to ensure consistent processes, timelines, and reporting formats across national and retail mediaMaintain organized documentation of campaign timelines, budgets, and performance for reporting and governance purposesSupport measurement and attribution efforts specific to retail media, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of sales impact and incrementalityCompile regular performance reports and dashboards, summarizing key retail media metrics for internal stakeholdersPartner with the National/DTC Media Coordinator to ensure consistent processes, timelines, and reporting formats across national and retail mediaSupport testing and optimization initiatives (keyword testing, creative testing, bid strategy testing) and help document learnings for the broader teamMonitor product listing quality, content, and retail readiness in coordination with e-commerce and creative teams to maximize advertising effectivenessAssist with invoice reconciliation, budget tracking, and vendor management processes for retail media partnersStay current on Amazon Advertising platform updates, retail media trends, and competitive activity, sharing relevant insights with the teamSupport ad hoc projects and analyses as needed by the Sr. Manager or Marketing DirectorsComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teamsProtect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidentialMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as neededMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field Experience2–4 years of experience in retail media, e-commerce advertising, or media coordination (agency or client-side) Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesWorking knowledge of the Amazon Advertising Console (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and Amazon DSP) sufficient to direct and evaluate agency-managed campaigns requiredFamiliarity with retail media metrics (unit sales, revenue, ROAS) and Amazon Vendor Central a plusStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneouslyAnalytical mindset with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with dashboards or BI tools a plus • Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with agencies, e-commerce teams, and internal stakeholdersDetail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in reporting and campaign execution • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentThe pay range for this position is $64,000.00 - $103,375.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
