Department Description

OOH group at Evergreen is a full-service OOH shop that handles everything from idea conception/client brief to post campaign analytics. The team consists of ten people split into two groups. The candidate will be working across both teams for maximum exposure to the business and comprehensive training.

Position Description

The ideal candidate has experience planning and buying Outdoor campaigns across multiple markets in the US and can hit the ground running. We are looking for an upbeat, outgoing Buyer with strong written and verbal skills. This role has an opportunity to learn about and negotiate trade deals with vendor partners and potentially mentor an assistant. Our goal is to provide this person with continued growth opportunities by having them lead accounts, foster internal and external relationships, participate in client meetings, and negotiate trade deals.

Duties And Responsibilities

Media Buying and Planning

  • Lead and manage key agency accounts, serving as the primary day-to-day contact for both clients and internal teams.
  • Oversee all phases of OOH media planning, from RFP development and media negotiations to campaign execution.
  • Develop strategic media recommendations supported by research and aligned with client objectives.

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Foster effective collaboration across internal agency teams
  • Contribute to strategic planning and participate in brainstorming sessions
  • Supervise the daily activities and deliverables of Assistant Buyers

Administrative and Networking Responsibilities

  • Oversee contract management and ensure billing accuracy
  • Draft department POVs and newsletters
  • Cultivate strong relationships with media vendors
  • Actively engage in relevant industry organizations
  • Attend industry events and client-related functions

Knowledge & Skills

  • 2-4 years relevant work experience
  • Experience using Geopath, DoMedia and contracting systems
  • High proficiency of Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of basic media planning terms and concepts such as GRPs, ROI, Reach and Frequency, as well as Out of Home Ratings


Core Competencies

  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of OOH media, including relevant tools, data sources, and industry studies

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

The above represents the expected base salary range for this role. Exact compensation is determined by level of experience, location, and other job-related factors.
