Job summary

Atlanta Basement Systems seeks a dependable Media Blaster / Mold Remediation Technician in Alpharetta, GA to help homeowners create cleaner, healthier spaces by treating mold and contaminated surfaces in basements and crawl spaces.

You’ll operate blasting equipment and use remediation techniques with PPE to remove mold, protect homes, and support a growing team. Competitive base+commission, day shift, full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience with mold remediation or related trades preferred.
• Comfortable working in basements, crawl spaces and confined areas.
• Ability to work around dust with PPE and respirators.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools or construction equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate media blasting equipment to remove mold, mildew and organic growth.
• Perform mold remediation in basements, crawl spaces and residential areas.
• Prepare and contain work areas before remediation begins.
• Use PPE, respirators, vacuums and remediation tools properly.
• Apply antimicrobial products and ensure surfaces are cleaned and treated.
• Inspect work areas to confirm thorough cleaning and treatment.
• Protect customers' homes and property during remediation.
• Load, unload, maintain and clean equipment and materials.
• Follow company safety standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with team to deliver excellent customer experience.
