Med-Trans Corporation in Chanute, KS seeks a Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) Pilot for a full-time role. You will work with medical teams to transport customers, ensure aircraft readiness, and maintain regulatory documentation.

The position requires FAA rotorcraft commercial certification, instrument rating, and extensive helicopter hours. The role offers substantial flight-time incentives and a 7/7 schedule, with housing on duty and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Hours Night Unaided, or 50 Hours Unaided with 100 Hours Aided

Preferred Qualifications

• 200 Helicopter Hours Preferred, Including 50 in Aircraft
• B407 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
