Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) is hiring a Helicopter Pilot for Med-Trans services. The HAA pilot role offers a 7/7 schedule, on-duty housing, and strong incentives including a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

The position requires a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, instrument rating, and substantial flight hours. The successful candidate will work with a medical team to transport patients safely and meet all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per FAR and Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Maintain certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Med-Trans requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateMed-Trans and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingMed-Trans change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)

Preferred Qualifications

• AS350 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
