Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient-centered care by applying the nursing process. The role includes evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating with other departments, and protecting patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements.
• Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; ability to bend, kneel, twist, and squat.

Responsabilités

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains professional accountability.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information; performs duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and standards.
