Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate care in collaboration with other departments. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality and uphold Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain an active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• One or more unit-specific certifications may be required (e.g., ACLS/NRP/ENPC/etc.).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
