Job summary

Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients in the assigned unit. You will supervise licensed and unlicensed staff, coordinate with the medical team, and ensure high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, safe medication administration, adherence to the Texas Nurse Practice Act, and timely response to patient needs. Reasonable accommodations may be provided in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in the unit.
• Direct Licensed Vocational Nurses and other nursing staff in delivering care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policy.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and unit activities.
• Clarify orders and coordinate with licensed practitioners as needed.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
