Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Med Technician to join the nursing team. You will coordinate medication administration for residents and assist with activities of daily living to enhance comfort and well-being.

You will be responsible for assisting with medications, supporting daily resident care, documenting tasks, and communicating urgent needs to the Health Care Director. This role requires state certification to pass medications and may involve evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• State certification to pass medications.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
