Job summary

Blue Heron Senior Living in Florida is seeking a dedicated Resident Aide (Med-Tech) to provide daily care, health support, and comfort to our residents under the supervision of the Assisted Living Manager.

The role includes assisting with activities, medication reminders, bathing, hygiene, dining, and safety while maintaining resident privacy and infection control.Eligibility includes Certified Med Tech and strong teamwork and compassion.

Qualifications

• Certified Med Tech required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work harmoniously with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care, health needs, safety and comfort under supervision of the Assisted Living Manager.
• Conduct/supervise daily activities per schedule and encourage resident participation.
• Assist with medication reminders and document timing.
• Assist residents in and out of showers and with daily hygiene.
• Help residents with transfers, dining, and meal setup/serving.
• Maintain clean dining and resident areas and protect privacy.
