Job summary

The Certified Medication Technician (QMAP) at Century Park Associates delivers quality assisted living care to residents on the 2nd shift. This full-time role reports to the Resident Care Director and emphasizes safety, accuracy in medication administration, and compassionate service.

Required certifications include Med Tech or QMAP and CPR, with experience in senior services preferred. You will document care in the EHR and work closely with the care team to uphold Century Park standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Med Tech or QMAP certification required.
• CPR certification required on hire or within 90 days.
• 1 year experience in senior services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures for medication administration, medication ordering, and delivery.
• Immediately report med errors, or missing medications.
• Provide quality care to residents as indicated on the care plan.
• Promote resident independence in accordance with service plan.
• Comply with infection control guidelines.
• Ensure proper transfer of medication cart between shifts, including narcotic count.
• Document medication administration in EHR per policy.
• Participate in community Lifestyles activities, events and outings, and encourage residents to attend.
• Demonstrate patience, compassion and integrity with residents.

Position Summary

TheCertified Medication Technician (Qualified Medication Administration Personnel/QMAP)delivers quality assisted living services focused on maximizing resident’s individual capabilities in accordance with all laws, regulations and Century Park standards. Reports to Resident Care Director (or Assistant Resident Care Director).

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have current Med Tech or QMAP certification. Certification must remain current during employment.
• One (1) year experience in senior services preferred
• Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain within 90 days of hire. Certification must remain current during employment

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Follows all policies and procedures for medication administration, medication ordering, and delivery
