Job summary

Sunset Senior Communities in Michigan seeks a dedicated Medication Technician for 2nd shift part-time (12 hours/week). You will safely administer medications, document care, and assist residents with ADL needs while responding to call lights promptly.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of healthcare experience, reliable and compassionate, with the ability to follow established care plans and collaborate with the care team in a respectful, patient-centered environment.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Medication Technician who finds purpose in serving residents with compassion, teamwork, and attention to detail. In this role, you’ll support residents’ daily health and comfort by safely administering medications and treatments as ordered, while also providing hands‑on assistance and reassurance throughout the day. Med Techs are key members of our care team, working together to ensure call lights are answered promptly and residents feel supported, respected, and cared for. This position is ideal for someone who values consistency, clear expectations, and meaningful work that directly improves the lives of others.

Schedule Details

• Shift: 2nd Shift (5pm - 9pm)
• Part‑time, 12 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required

What This Role Looks Like Day to Day

• Dispense medications to residents in accordance with physician orders
• Assures proper documentation for resident care
• Assist in answering call lights and ADL support of the residents
