Koelsch Communities is seeking a dedicated Med Tech for our Deer Ridge memory care community. This full-time role involves administering medications and assisting residents under licensed nurse supervision, with emphasis on safety and individualized care. Multiple shifts are available, and new grads are welcome to apply.

Competenze

• Must have completed a state-certified medication aide/tech course.
• Must be able to gain CPR/First-Aid certification as needed.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.

Mansioni

• Administer oral and external medications to residents according to orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication following guidelines.
• Maintain resident records for medication distribution and incidents; report changes to LN on duty.
• Assist residents with ADL tasks including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, meals, housekeeping and laundry.
• Uphold resident rights and relate to residents in a courteous, empathetic manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
