Job summary

The Reserve at Fountaingrove Memory Care in Santa Rosa, CA, is looking for a compassionate Med Tech to provide high-quality care to our residents. This role involves administering medications, documenting patient needs, and assisting with daily activities while ensuring privacy and dignity.

The Reserve at Fountaingrove Memory Care, located in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a dedicated and passionate Med Tech to provide high-quality care to the residents in our community.

Responsibilities of the Med Tech

• Administers and documents medications/treatments as directed by residents’ physician.
• Documents and reports changes and observations of resident’s needs and preferences.
• Communicates with the health services team, physicians, other healthcare providers, and responsible parties as needed.
• Aid with activities of daily living in a manner that supports our person-centered care philosophy.
• Assist in daily requirements and tasks as requested.
• Ensure residents are provided with privacy, respect, and dignity.
• Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Completes state required training upon hire and annually.

Required Experience

• Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of one (1) year caregiving with Memory Care experience preferred.
• Active First Aid/CPR/BLS Certification required
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
• State Criminal Background Check and LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement
• LIC 503 Health Screening Report
