Clarendale of Chandler is seeking a Medication Technician in Chandler, AZ to accurately prepare, administer, and document medications for residents. Starting pay is $20.00 to $21.50 per hour, depending on experience.

This full-time position requires weekend and holiday work and offers health benefits, PTO, dailyPay, and other perks. The role emphasizes careful medication administration, adherence to protocols, and precise documentation in a hospitality-focused senior living environment.

Qualifications

• State-approved Caregivers Class approved through the NCIA Board.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Basic math skills and accurate documentation ability
• Prior experience in senior care or assisted living
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Food Handler’s Card
• Valid TB Test

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer, and chart oral, topical, and suppository medications
• Ensure all medications are administered as prescribed, following proper protocols
• Verify medication information against orders and labels for accuracy
• Clearly identify residents before administering medications
• Maintain proper documentation of medications and treatments provided
