Cogir Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking Med Techs to join our caregiving team for 2pm–10pm and 10pm–6am shifts. You will assist residents with medication administration and daily living activities per individualized plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state medication administration license (CNA, CMA, CMT, QMAP) or meet state requirements.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• At least 12 months of experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting.
• Experience with memory care and/or formal training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medication administration, including self‑administration, as outlined in their care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory, proper storage, and coordinate re‑orders and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting as needed.
• Prioritize independence and provide emotional support through continuous engagement and companionship.
• Encourage and assist participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.

Position Summary

Our Medication Technicians (Med Tech/CMA) provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with medication administration and activities of daily living per individualized medication and treatment plans.

Education And Certifications

• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
