Job summary

Avamere Living in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Med Tech to administer medications and provide direct care to residents. The role is full-time with a swing shift (2-10pm) and various schedules; weekend availability is needed.

The Med Tech will pass medications under RN supervision, document in EMR, and ensure accurate medication administration while supporting residents’ health needs and comfort. Attendance bonus may apply per period.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Caregiver and Medication Tech in Memory Care/Assisted Living.
• CPR/First Aid certification required during employment.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Document medications administered in the resident's record.
• Notify pharmacy or family when meds need refilling.
• Maintain a clean, organized medication cart and room.
• Monitor and report side effects to health services.
