Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to provide compassionate care and directly administer medications to residents, supporting daily living activities in a team-based environment.

You will follow individualized care plans, document changes, manage medication storage, and coordinate with pharmacies to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining resident safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state medication administration license (CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP/Certified Caregiver) or state requirement.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration as per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and storage; coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Promote independence and engage residents through ongoing companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Foster open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
