Eagle Senior Living in Colorado Springs is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to join our Assisted Living or Memory Care team. You will be a primary provider of resident care and medication delivery, collaborating with caregivers, nurses, and the broader care team to promote residents' physical, personal, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities include administering medications per individualized care plans, performing resident assessments, recording vitals, and supporting daily living

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• Medication Technician certification as required by state regulations.
• Ability to work with the elderly in a courteous, patient, and compassionate manner.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records management.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct resident care including medication distribution per individualized plan of care.
• Perform resident assessments as required by state standards and facility policy.
• Observe residents for changes, document observations and communicate to supervisors, families, and the next shift.
• Complete and maintain individualized care plans; attend interdisciplinary care meetings.
• Check and record vital signs, weights, and blood sugars as assigned.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, restorative nursing techniques, and behavioral support.
• Encourage and assist residents with scheduled activities.
• Oversee the medication delivery system, including order entry, MAR documentation, narcotic counts, and pharmacy coordination.
• Assist with orienting, training, and coaching caregivers.
• Attend in-service classes and staff meetings
