The Palmettos of Garden City is seeking a Med Tech to join our care team in Murrells Inlet, SC. The Med Tech provides direct and indirect patient care under RN or LPN supervision, assisting residents with daily living and helping maintain a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with admissions, transfers, discharges, and routine health measurements, while ensuring accuracy in the care record and preserving patient confidentiality.

Formación

• Attend in-service programs to learn procedures and meet state requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide morning and evening care, including personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight and other measurements.
• Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning and use of equipment.
• Document accurately in the Patient Care Record or similar form.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow center policies and procedures.
• Follow universal precautions and ensure a safe, clean environment.
