Qualifications

• Six months of experience administering medications in a retirement or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• CMA certification is optional; training provided.
• Caring and organized with multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Administer and accurately record medications as prescribed by a resident's physician under supervision of a nurse.
• Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs.
• Manage supply of medications and ensure proper storage.
• Aid residents with activities of daily living and mobility; observe changes in condition.
