Charter Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician / Med Tech in Pikesville, MD. The role focuses on administering medications, assisting with ADLs, and supporting care plans to maintain residents’ dignity and safety.

The ideal candidate holds Maryland CMT certification, has experience in assisted living or memory care, and works closely with RN delegation to ensure accurate, compassionate care for residents.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland CMT certification through the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Ability to safely administer medications under RN delegation in accordance with Maryland regulations.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and company policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation.
• Support implementation of individualized resident care plans.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with medication management and safety procedures.
• Support a positive, team-oriented care environment.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
