Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking Medication Technicians / CMAs to safely administer medications and support resident care in our senior living community. Join a team that values integrity, accountability, and resident safety.

Qualified applicants have CMA certification, a high school diploma, and preferably experience in senior living. CPR/First Aid, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a strong reliability mindset are desirable.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policy.
• Follow the “Six Rights” of medication administration and proper documentation standards.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts.
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.

The Claiborne at Acworth, a Claiborne Senior Living managed community, is hiring Medication Technicians / Certified Medication Aides (Med Techs / CMAs) to safely administer medications and support resident care in our senior living community.
