Job summary

Heritage Green Assisted Living in Lynchburg, Virginia is looking for compassionate individuals to join their team. This role involves administering medications, working closely with caregivers, and enhancing residents' quality of life, making a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, effective communication skills, and preferably a Med Tech Certification or License, ready to make a difference in a positive work environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
• Understanding and carrying out directions and instructions.
• Some supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, administering and documenting resident medications.
• Working with caregivers to provide the best possible care.
• Interacting with residents to improve their quality of life.

Job Requirements

• A passion for helping seniors
• A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
• Ability to work every other weekend

Job Responsibilities Include

• Setting up, administering and documenting resident medications, treatments and skin care.
• Working together with the caregivers in order to provide the best possible care for residents.
• Interacting daily with residents in an effort to improve resident quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Able to understand and carry out directions and instructions and maintain simple records.
• Med Tech Certification or License depending on your state requirement.
• Some supervisory experience preferred but not required
