Job summary

Tarantino Senior Living Communities currently seeks Med Techs to care for residents under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director at Lewisville Estates Senior Living Community in Lewisville, Texas.

We offer Full Time positions (2:00 pm–10:00 pm and 10:00 pm–6:00 am) and PRN shifts. Responsibilities include medication supervision, daily living assistance, vital signs, and resident support in a respectful, family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver is required.
• Previous experience as a med tech is required.
• Previous experience working with the Senior Living Community is preferred.
• Caregiver Certification and/or Medication Aide Certification is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medication for Assisted Living in compliance with Federal & State regulations as directed by the LPN/LVN or Assisted Living Director.
• Care for residents as if they were family.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Assist some residents with Ambulation and Transferring.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height and weight; calculate and record fluid intake/output.
• Recognize abnormal changes and report to supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
