Job summary

Avista Senior Living of Casa Grande is seeking a Med Tech to assist with resident care per service plans, document medication administration, and respond promptly to needs and alarms. The role emphasizes empathy, promoting independence, and maintaining accurate care records.

Qualifications

Caregiver certification is required before start.
CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required by state regulations.
TB 2-Step Skin Test must be passed before start.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing, coordinating, and performing tasks on the resident service plan.
Maintain and document in the Medication Assistance Record.
Respond to resident needs, pendant calls, and alarms promptly and empathetically.
Promote resident independence and self-care while delivering care.
Maintain accurate records of care delivered and complete incident reports in a timely manner.
Follow safety and infection control policies to prevent illness spread.
