Job summary

Baywood Court in Castro Valley, CA is seeking a Weekend Medication Technician/Caregiver with open shifts. You will assist residents with daily living, observe safety, and administer medications per physician orders in a compassionate, confidential environment.

Primary duties include medication handling, ADL support, and coordinating with nursing staff. Strong communication and reliability are essential; weekend availability is required. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to write and document in the ADL forms.
• Current First Aid Certification is required before on-floor training.

Responsibilities

• Receive medications from family, pharmacy or resident.
• Transcribe each physician’s medication order onto MAR (Medication Assistance Record) correctly.
• Ensure that all PRN orders are written by physician according to Title 22 RCFE Regulations.
• Ensure that all pharmacy labels are written in accordance with Title 22 RCFE Regulations.
• Caregiver duties: light housekeeping, dressing/bathing/assisting with restroom, taking from dining room to apartment.
