The role emphasizes compassionate, team-based care, adherence to documentation protocols, and collaboration with healthcare professionals, families, and staff to enrich residents' daily lives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state medication administration license (CMA/CMT/QMAP/etc.) or meet state requirements.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication as per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist with medication inventory, storage, and coordination with pharmacies.
• Provide care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Encourage independence and ongoing engagement with residents.
• Support participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
