Join Trinity Springs in Oxford, FL as a Caregiver/Med Tech (CNA/HHA/PCA). You will assist residents with daily living activities and administer medications under supervision.

You will work in our assisted living and memory care unit, with evening shifts and weekend rotation. AHCA Med Tech certification is required, along with proof of certification and annual training. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible role.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Must have 1 year of caregiving/med passing experience.
• Med Tech Certification must be approved through AHCA
• Proof of original certification and all annual 2-hour training required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of independence and perform personal care (ADLs).
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the RN per care plan.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the RN.
• Document services in the charting system.

As aCaregiver/ Med TechatTrinity Springs, you will prepare and administer medication as well as perform cares to our residents. Along with Med Passing, you will provide each resident with routine daily nursing care and services following guidelines and regulations. You will work beside other CNAs & Nurses to provide cares for our residentsActivities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering/bathing, shampooing of hair and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. You will be working in our Assisted Living and Memory Care unit.Med Tech Certification must be approved by Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying scheduling including every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)

Shifts Available: Evenings 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Wage Range: $16.00 - $20.00 /hour depending on experience

Shift Difference: Evenings $1.00

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Complete light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Caregiver Qualifications:

• Must have 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Must have 1 year of caregiving/med passing experience.
• Med Tech Certification must be approved through AHCA
• Be able to provide proof of original certification and all subsequent annual 2-hour training
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must be 18 years or older.
