Job summary

Touchmark at Fairway Village is hiring Med Techs in Southwest Washington. We offer full-time and part-time positions with day and swing shifts and a starting pay from $20/hr and up, DOE, plus a competitive benefits package.

You will review each resident's service plan, assist with daily living activities, respond to call lights promptly, and escort residents to meals and activities. In memory care, CNAs may help with dining and service, and Med Techs provide medication support under licensed

Qualifications

• Nurse Delegation completed and experience as a caregiver or Med Tech.

Responsibilities

• Review the unique service plan for each resident each shift.
• Assistance with bathing, dressing, and daily living activities.
• Respond to call lights promptly to ensure resident safety.
• Escort residents to apartments, activities, and dining rooms.
• In memory care, CNAs may prepare dining room, take orders, and serve meals.
• Take and document vital statistics.
• Provide medication assistance as directed by a licensed staff.

Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available for Day and Swing shift!

Your responsibilities as a Med Tech may include daily duties such as:

• Reviewing and understanding the unique service plan for every assigned resident each shift


• Assisting with bathing, dressing/undressing, and other activities of daily living


• Answering call lights as soon as possible to ensure safety of residents


• Escorting residents to and from apartments, activities, and dining rooms


• In our memory care setting, CNA’s may prepare the dining room, take orders, and serve meals


• Taking and documenting vital statistics


• Performing medication assistance as directed by a licensed staff
  

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:

• Be committed to and passionate about 100% customer satisfaction


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent


• Have completed a state certified CNA or NAC course, with current certification in the state of Washington. Home Care Aide certificate is also acceptable, as it is current enrollment in a CNA training school


• Med Techs must have Nurse Delegation completed and experience as a caregiver and/or Med Tech


• Be willing to obtain a CPR/AED/First Aid Certification if you don’t already have one


• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
