Apploi is seeking a Med Tech to support medication management and resident care in a long-term care setting. The role emphasizes accuracy in documentation, adherence to physician orders, and safe medication handling. The candidate will maintain MAR records and ensure medication room compliance.

Responsibilities include patient support, vital signs monitoring, and coordination with healthcare professionals. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Medication Management & Documentation
• Prepare, administer, and document medications in accordance with Mosaic policies, physician orders, and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely entries in the Medication Assistance Record (MAR).
• Verify, clarify, and update physician orders as needed.
• Order, receive, and securely store medications in compliance with community protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication room.
• Resident Care & Support
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs, monitor health changes, and communicate updates promptly to the Clinical Manager or Executive Director.
• Provide first aid and wound care when necessary and coordinate care with outside healthcare professionals as directed.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Med Tech certification and previous long-term care experience, preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must demonstrate empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to resident dignity.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
