Job summary

Mosaic Management is seeking a Med Tech to support medication management and resident care in a compassionate, resident-focused environment in Washington. You will prepare, document, and administer medications, maintain MAR entries, and verify physician orders under Mosaic policies.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, provide basic wound care, and coordinate with clinicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Med Tech certification and long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience and commitment to resident dignity.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Medication Management & Documentation per Mosaic policies and state regulations.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications; maintain MAR accuracy.
• Verify, clarify and update physician orders as needed.
• Order, receive and store medications per protocols.
• Maintain a clean, secure medication room.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Take vital signs and monitor health changes; report updates to Clinical Manager.
• Provide first aid and wound care; coordinate with outside clinicians as directed.

Key Responsibilities

• Medication Management & Documentation
• Prepare, administer, and document medications in accordance with Mosaic policies, physician orders, and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely entries in the Medication Assistance Record (MAR).
• Verify, clarify, and update physician orders as needed.
• Order, receive, and securely store medications in compliance with community protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication room.
• Resident Care & Support
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs, monitor health changes, and communicate updates promptly to the Clinical Manager or Executive Director.
• Provide first aid and wound care when necessary and coordinate care with outside healthcare professionals as directed.
