Job summary

Mosaic Management in Ashland, Oregon is seeking a dedicated Med Tech to support resident care through accurate medication management and compassionate service. You will prepare, administer, and document medications in accordance with policies and physician orders, and maintain MAR records.

You will assist residents with activities of daily living, take vital signs, monitor health changes, provide first aid as needed, and coordinate care with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Med Tech certification and long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must demonstrate empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to resident dignity.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Medication Management & Documentation.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications in accordance with Mosaic policies, physician orders, and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate MAR entries and verify/clarify physician orders.
• Order, receive, and securely store medications per protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, secure medication room.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs and communicate changes to Clinical Manager or Executive Director.
• Provide first aid and wound care as needed and coordinate with outside healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify, clarify, and update physician orders as needed.
• Order, receive, and securely store medications in compliance with community protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication room.
• Resident Care & Support
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs, monitor health changes, and communicate updates promptly to the Clinical Manager or Executive Director.
• Provide first aid and wound care when necessary and coordinate care with outside healthcare professionals as directed.
